Проблемы определения радиационного упрочнения сталей при ионном облучении с использованием инструментального индентирования

Аннотация
Рассмотрена возможность применения метода инструментального индентирования пирамидой Берковича для определения микротвердости и радиационного упрочнения сталей в результате ионного облучения. Выявлены основные трудности, возникающие при оценке микротвердости тонкого облученного слоя. В первую очередь они связаны с тем, что при определении микротвердости по диаграмме индентирования с использованием общепринятых формул Oliver и Pharr наблюдается ее зависимость от глубины индентирования даже для однородного материала. Отмечены недостатки комбинированного подхода оценки микротвердости — по диаграмме индентирования в сочетании с обработкой зависимости микротвердости от глубины индентирования с помощью диаграмм Nix и Gao. Предложен метод определения микротвердости, основанный на прямом измерении площади отпечатка индентора, позволяющий исключить влияние глубины индентирования на микротвердость для однородного материала. Показано, что для однородного материала микротвердость при индентировании как пирамидой Берковича, так и пирамидой Виккерса не зависит от глубины индентирования, если площадь отпечатка определяется непосредственно по измерению его геометрических характеристик. Предложенный метод позволяет получать адекватные оценки радиационного упрочнения тонкого слоя материала, облученного ионами. Метод апробирован при индентировании с постоянной скоростью деформации образцов аустенитной и ферритно-мартенситной стали.
